Ventilated façades ON INSTALLATIONS OF THE OUARGLA TRAM (ALGERIA)
Favemanc is the ventilated ceramic façade supplier for the Algeria tram project.
Construction of this tram includes the construction of five intermodal stations to link with other means of transport, as well as 23 stations with buildings for ticket sales, passenger information and the necessary signalling and communications systems.
The project includes more than 2,000 square metres of ventilated ceramic façade in Tabaco colour. The XB PRO system from Favemanc has been chosen for the Ventilated façades, which consists of aluminium profiles, clip anchors and 17 mm ceramic panels. This system is an excellent option for any project because it is lightweight but also very strong.
The ventilated ceramic façade is complemented by other parts in face brick and ceramic latticework bricks in Tobacco colour. The 250 mm oval slab was chosen for the ceramic latticework bricks, which are being installed horizontally on lacquered aluminium tubes in Terracota colour. In total, over 4,500 linear metres of Favemanc ceramic latticework bricks will be installed.
