The ventilated cavity is an external insulating system in which a "STACK EFFECT"
is caused by the heating of the exterior cladding layer, inducing a variation in the density of the enclosed air layer relative to that of the exterior air, leading to a convective rising movement within.
The exterior insulation helps to maintain stable indoor temperatures in both summer and winter. In winter, it minimizes the hazards of condensation, and eliminates occupant sensations of draughts and cold.
Indoor temperatures will not change abruptly even when heating is not in use, such as st night or during extreme temperature swings in winter.
